"Phedangma" or Limbu shamans have been reciting this scripture "Mundhum" from the time of immomemoral during the performance of rite and rituals. They are the custodians of Mundhum. These shamans are not only performers but also healers. They bear knowledge of this world and the other world, medicinal technology, diseases, plants, animals, etc. They possess important place in Limbu culture.

Artist : Praveen Chettri is a well-known photographer based in Kalimpong, West Bengal. He was honoured as the Photographer of the Year for winning the EPSON-PHOTO OF THE YEAR 2012 and has worked for Numero-French fashion magazine as in-house photographer in Thailand.He has worked in numerous commissioned photo projects in Darjeeling hills and Sikkim.
